Skyroot Village

Skyroot Village is a gentle building sim that mostly leaves you alone. You grow things, arrange your floating island, and trade with wandering merchants — and crucially, nothing punishes you for stepping away for a day.

The drag-and-drop building interface is smooth, and the game remembers where you left off so returning is painless. It's the kind of thing we opened while half-watching TV, which is exactly its lane.

There isn't much tension here, and that's the point. It runs cool, sips battery, and rewards slow tinkering. If you want challenge, look elsewhere; if you want a calm corner of a phone to potter in, it's lovely.
