Neon Drift Circuit

Neon Drift Circuit doesn't pretend to be a simulator. It's arcade to the core, all about chaining drifts through neon-soaked corners and feeling the boost kick in. The handling model is forgiving enough to enjoy immediately but has a skill ceiling that keeps you coming back.

We tested tilt controls and on-screen buttons. Tilt is the more fun of the two once you calibrate it, though buttons win for reliability on a moving bus. Either way the response felt tight, with no obvious input lag on our mid-range phone.

Sessions are short by design — races run a couple of minutes — which makes it ideal for filling gaps in a day. Just be warned the frame rate at high settings will warm your phone quickly, so drop it a notch if you're mid-charge.
