Iron Tide Command
★★★★☆ 4.2
Iron Tide Command asks you to think about logistics before you think about attacking, which is a bold move for a touchscreen. Units need supply, and stretching too far leaves you exposed. It clicks once you stop rushing.
The interface is the make-or-break here, and mostly it works. Pinch to zoom, drag to select, and a radial menu for orders keep your thumbs busy without feeling cramped. Larger battles can get fiddly on a small screen, so a tablet suits it better.
It's demanding on the battery during long matches — this is not a top-up-while-in-line game. But for a proper sit-down session it delivers a surprising amount of depth for something you carry in a pocket.
What we liked
- Supply mechanics that reward planning
- Clean radial order menu
